MOTORBOOKS BLOG
It's possible that I've logged as much time sitting on stationary motorcycles as I have those that were actually headed down the road. Giving bikes a test-sit is a universal motorcycling experience undertaken at shows, dealerships, friends' garages, rallies, and anywhere else motorcyclists gather. I suppose it's no different than wanting to try out any object you've decided to involve yourself with, but it seems infinitely more exciting than testing a recliner while pretending to wield a remote control.
Dear ASD,

We have all heard the stories. A neighbor's-uncle's-friend's sister stumbles upon a vintage Triumph or Indian Motorcycle hiding in a storage shed or buried in an abandoned barn. Although many of these treasure-hunting adventures may seem fabricated, most of them are not. If you want to uncover your own piece of history, what should you do to get started? The first step is knowledge.
Read "The Two Rules of Motorcycle Barn Finding" today on BarnFinds.com. This story, taken from the pages of Tom Cotter's critically acclaimed book The Harley in the Barn, will get you started on the path to discovery.

If you have a TRUE barn find story of your own, submit it to BarnFinds.com and your story may appear in Tom Cotter's next book! See BarnFinds.com for rules and details.
