Steve McQueen's 1958 Porsche Speedster Super
Steve McQueen didn't just play a guy who loved cars and motorcycles. He was a life-long aficionado of anything that could tear up the road. One of the cars McQueen is most strongly identified with was his 1958 Porsche Speedster Super. Matt Stone, author of McQueen's Machines, offers up some close-up insights on this amazing vehicle.

The original Porsche Speedster was the perfect Southern California sports car in the 1950s. Its existence was inspired largely by Max Hoffman, Porsche's then U.S. importer. Hoffman wanted a light, inexpensive, roadster version of the 356 devoid of frills, and the Speedster was it: no rollup windows, no padded top, and wearing a cut-down windshield resembling those fitted to many race cars and American hot rods of the day.

Autocourse 2013-2014
Autocourse 2013-2014 is now in its 63rd year as the indisputable leader in
its field. The 19-race Formula 1 World championship season is covered with its usual meticulous attention to detail. This year, the much-respected Tony Dodgins takes over the editor's role, supported by the award-winning author Maurice Hamilton. The vastly experienced pair, both long-time paddock insiders, bring you all the drama and intrigue that is Formula 1 in their reportage. Supporting their exhaustive race reports are the traditionally detailed results spreads that include specially prepared and easy to follow lap charts.
Motocourse 2013-2014

The much-respected Michael Scott continues in the editor's role, supported by other leading writers in the sport who bring you the unique drama of the year's action in their reportage.
